Sugarfoot Shag Club is a social club dedicated to the preservation of the Southern Lifestyle that surrounds "Beach" music and the "Shag Dance". The Shag originated in the Carolinas. See our Events schedule for more details. Our next dance event is Saturday, May 26th. It will be held at Memories Beach Club located at 128 E. Ft. Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC. This is our big fund raiser for the year to provide funding for the local charities we support! Please come and help us make it a successful event. The event begins at 2:30 PM. Admission is $10.00 and includes a "pig-pickin" dinner. (You will receive an armband that will permit you back into Memories free for the evening!) Our DJ will be Robbie Leggett.
